  1. Where do you usually go for the cheapest pricing for Hikvision?
  2. Swann HD 1080p NVR IP Add-on Bullet Camera 2-pk $349.99 @ http://www.costco.com/Swann-HD-1080p-NVR-IP-Add-on-Bullet-Camera-2-pk.product.100039914.html Q-See HD 1080p IP Add-on Bullet Camera 2-pk $299 @ http://www.costco.com/Q-See-HD-1080p-IP-Add-on-Bullet-Camera-2-pk.product.100054309.html What's the difference between the cameras? Aren't they both simply a repackaging of Hikvision? So in that case, why would I go with the Swanns over the Q-See considering Swann is $25 more per camera? I received the Swann HD's and tested them last night by programming the IP. My mind is seriously blown. I'm SOOOOOooo happy to say never again to Foscam, Trendnet, Hoocam, Tenvis, and all those other cheaper brands!!!
  3. You can use either main or sub stream. Can you explain a little how I could access the sub stream? Which protocol would it be? It looks as though Hikvision has their own native app that I may try to see if it works with that on the Tablet: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mcu.iVMS&hl=en

  5. Do you know if IP Cam Viewer is pulling the RTSP full resolution feed from HikVision cameras or is it trying to pull a lower resolution protocol? I have the Swann SWNHD-820CAM, and the standard 1080p feeds (on ports 554, and 80) seem to lock up my 10" Samsung Galaxy Tab 2. I did notice that the Swann native app, pulls from port 8000, which is a lower resolution feed, but I can't figure out how to pull that same feed on IP Cam Viewer. I believe port 8000 is an SDK protocol feed. Unfortunately, Swann's native app doesn't support 10" tablets at this time.
  6. Maybe I just need to go into IP Cam Viewer and set the Swann camera up as a HIKvision. Which model did you set it up os?
  7. The RTSP & HTTP ports are 554 & 80, and I can access those just fine on my phone, but they lag the hell out of it and the image freezes because I think it's just too many pixels to deal with. The native App, SwannViewer Plus or something like that seems to be pulling the lower resolution feed (called sub-feed?) from port 8000. I'm trying to use a third party app, that's free, IP Camera Viewer Lite to view the cameras on my 10" tablet which SwannViewer Plus currently does not install well. I tried using port 8000 as an RTSP & HTTP protocol, but it doesn't seem to match. The configuration seems to show the 8000 port using the SDK protocol. Any ideas on getting either an RTSP or HTTP feed that is lower resolution or a free third party app that will support the SDK protocol on a 10" tablet?
