It looks like I have a lot more to learn, Im sticking with the dome idea I think as i wish to keep my eye on local gangs which pass my property often at night. Hello, Im new to cctv systems and need some advice if possible. Im currently having some vandal damage to my vehicles on my driveway (day/night), so Im after getting a good ptz camera and a dvr card setup. Ive been reading a little into it and have come to the conclusion that a dennard 2060 dome camera looks like it would be a good choice together with a geovision gv800 card. Could you please give me your opinions? I have seen several used cameras on ebay but I am unsure as to what i will need exactly, will i just need the camera, dvr card and cables? I need the camera for evidence collection, so your suggestions on other good setups are appreciated, I do have a limited budget of around £600.00-£700.00 but if I can do it for less that would be good.
