    Help with Axis 241S

Update: So I tried plugging in one of the older analogue cameras into the Axis, it started working straight away in the web browser but when I plugged the HD camera back in again, it's back to "No Video" :S

    Help with Axis 241S

Hi Ssnapier. Here is my diagram. At the moment, we havn't got to the NDVR as yet. It's connected to the standalone DVR and recording correctly. I've had a look online for any Axis Plugins and have installed the "Axis Media Control" for MPEG-4 media but that hasn't resolved anything and have also tried installing "Axis Media Control SDK". When I do a google search for "intitle:”Live View / – AXIS 210″" I can see those cameras just fine. Regards.

    Help with Axis 241S

Hi Ssnapier. The DVR looks fine, Going IN (from camera) and OUT of the Encoder then into the DVR looks fine, picture is crystal clear. However, accessing the Axis video server on the network get's a "No Video" notice. http://s30.postimg.org/cnjo99szk/Screen_Shot_2014_07_10_at_11_41_47_pm.jpg Regards.
  4. Hi. A little background. We have a DVR running hybrid ndvr in one building that has SDI connection going into it and I've just bought a used AXIS 241S Analogue to IP encoder so we can have one of the coax cameras in another building be seen from the other building as with hybrid ndvr, you can add in IP cameras. I've installed the Axis encoder and I've plugged the coax camera into the "In" port of the encoder and from the "out" port back into the DVR and the DVR does see the video feed as it always has but when I try and access the Axis web interface, I keep getting a "No Video" on either "Motion JPEG" or "MPEG-4" through any browser. Would anyone know what could be causing this? It does have the latest firmware version. Here are the some of the options in screenshots. http://s28.postimg.org/yijrm1akt/Screen_Shot_2014_07_10_at_6_25_20_pm_1.png http://s30.postimg.org/re99bgpa9/Screen_Shot_2014_07_10_at_6_25_36_pm.png http://s27.postimg.org/lb6dzilkz/Screen_Shot_2014_07_10_at_6_25_43_pm.png Regards. Dahua HDBW3300 Video feed issue

I've played around with the exposure and such but it doesn't seem to fix the signal, even with reverting back to Automatic. I'm going to see if I can get a clear picture through coax or s-video testing. Maybe it could be just IP being the issue.
  6. Hi. This is the second HDBW3300 I've installed. I originally set both of them up at my desk and tested them before installation and were working perfectly. The first unit I installed went without a hitch but the second unit after I installed it was just getting a very off-white video feed, you can if you look hard enough (during the day) noticeably see faint images in the feed when I was testing it. At first I thought it might of been a PoE issue with the cable or port so I tested with another cat 5 lead on a different port but same result. I even ended up resetting to factory default and manually setting up the IP address again from scratch with no luck. Here are some screenshots so maybe someone might be able to assist.
  7. Hi Guys. Hopefully someone could assist. A friend of mine is looking for a couple of cameras to cover several squash courts. Their main requirement is that the camera be capable of emiting an audible alarm from the cameras speaker to let intruders know they are being monitored and recorded. I know it's not an ideal solution but their adament for something like that. Regards, Michael
