Hi, I've been reading the forums for a while and thought I would post this question after searching the board for advice.
I have had a Speco 16TL DVR for sometime in my shop. I would like to connect it to my LAN in order to view cameras in my office. I setup the DVR with a fixed IP address and can connect to it from my laptop and from a MAC.
On the MAC running SpecoRemote I can view the live feed, recorded images and change the DVR configuration.
On the laptop PC running Speco SecureGuard I can only see recorded images, live images will not show unless a motion alarm has been triggered. I have been through every setting in secureguard, used both admin and user logins, even reset the DVR to factory default with no luck.
IS secureguard the right software for this application? Any idea what I am doing wrong?
