a newbie question. I understand the distributions like ADI which is membership only, and online distributions like amazon/ebay. What about dealers, integrators/installers, consultants and end-users? Any tips on how to find a reputable dealer? or installers?

What would you like to know beside that all of us like product ? I should have been more specific. Any remarks from the installers on this question... was what I was asking. "Can I contact them directly to purchase or is there anywhere else I can purchase their products?"

Any remarks from Avigilon installers on Avigilon?

Trying to do some study on Avigilon and other VMSs, and compatibilities. I understand that some cases they use Avigilon cameras with Genetec. Sometimes, I see their End-to-End system. I was assuming that their JPEG2000 codec models, like the 29MP models only worked with ACC. Any pros or cons of using 3rd party VMS? or experiences?
