Mixed system (Dahua and Hikvision)
zivtal posted a topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi, I gonna build an CCTV system includes DAHUA IPC camera (That I already have) and I would like to add more HIKVISION camera... So now I am looking for friendly software(to iPhone, PC and iPad) that I'll be able to connect all cameras... I really like iDMSS and PSS but I'm pretty sure that it's will not work with Hikvision cameras... So I'll be happy to ear about alternative (I'll be happy if someone current my and I'm wrong)... For who asking why mixing, I just found good camera specs and elegant look(DS-2CD2532-I) for inside use (office/home) there is no same alternative from DAHUA that's why I would like to mix... I tried compare Hikvision mini dome (DS-2CD2532-I) to Dahua IPC-HDB3200C but... Dahua coins: 2MP maximum for this model (Hikvision have 3MP model), No IR led (Hikvision have 10m IR led), MicroSD support only up to 32gb (Hikvision support up to 64GB) and the price is almost same (Dahua IPC-HDB3200C about 120$ and Hikvision DS-2CD2532-I about 150$)... -

I just config my router to forward port 80,554,443,8000 (with port translate 9901=>80, 9902=>554, 9903=>443, 9904=>8000)... I connect to my IP and port 9904(it's translate it to 8000) with my iPhone using 3G connection everything work great but when I change it to WIFI I cant connect... It's connect to NVR but show me "Connection failed." on the streams... any idea why or how to fix it ? -

Hi, While I connect to the camera stream via Hikvision NVR (using iVMS 4500) I'm getting a lot's of noisy audio but when I connect directly to the camera(Dahua IPC-HFW3300C using iDMSS) I'm getting clear audio... Anyone know why? or how to fix it? BTW- Camera's audio encode set to PCM but I also tried G.711A but it's gives me same problem...

CCTV Microphone POE power
zivtal replied to zivtal's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Maybe I can use something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/5Pack-48V-Phantom-Power-XLR-Microphone-For-Video-Camera-Mixer-5piece-/221334856523?pt=AU_Pro_Audio&hash=item338895e34b and then I will put simple RJ45 spliter 1 RJ45(LAN) to the camera and 1 RJ45(POE Only) to the microphone (Like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-RJ45-Cat-5-Lan-Plug-Adapter-2-in-1-Network-Internet-Connector-Spliter-t11-/271408294233?pt=US_Ethernet_Cables_RJ_45_8P8C_&hash=item3f3131e959) It's will still be elegant because it's will be small and I can put it in the wall... -
CCTV Microphone POE power

1st about built in microphone you should tell about this patent to Dahua. 2nd I tried to search PoE to PoE and 12V. I mean like PoE spliter but with 2 outputs one 48V that continue to LAN(Cable) and one DC 12V out (Like this: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/FREE-SHIPPING-5pcs-a-lot-5v-poe-splitter-12v-poe-splitter-24v-poe-splitter-up-to/1583592474.html but this one is take out the volt from the LAN convert it to 12V DC connector (The 48V stop at the down conversion). If I'm doing "home made" cable witch run 2 pairs 48V, 2 pairs 12V, Data (If it's possible) I don't think on anyway that I can make it elegant... Down converters I got alot' of them... I got this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/350975616749?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 and I got PoE Spliter to 12V (This: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/FREE-SHIPPING-5pcs-a-lot-5v-poe-splitter-12v-poe-splitter-24v-poe-splitter-up-to/1583592474.html)... But I'm looking to something else... Like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Spy-Mini-Microphone-CCTV-Security-RCA-Output-/230850540691?pt=US_Surveillance_Accessories&hash=item35bfc3b493 but instead of DC 12V connector IN and OUT will be LAN POE IN and OUT, Even without LAN IN/OUT I'll make a split by my self... Just microphone support 48V input... -
Hikvision iVMS 4500 connecting problems
zivtal replied to zivtal's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Your Dahua IPC only uses one port; your Hikvision NVR uses two ports. You are connecting fine to the NVR (9904=>8000), but then you are failing to see live video (9902=>554). My guess is that since the NVR is what tells iVMS-4500 what is the RTSP port, NVR is telling your mobile that the RTSP port is 554, and that is what is failing. That is, you can see the NVR information, maybe you can even see a list of the recordings, but as long as you try to see video (which uses RTSP), it fails. Edit: Btw, I do have this working fine, but my external ports are the same as the internal ports. Thanks dude, When I tried in the 1st to put "same port" I tried it only on SDK port (witch one that I connect too) I didn't think this is using 2 ports to connect. Good to know Thank you very very much. -
Hikvision iVMS 4500 connecting problems

Can't be done. My router is forwarding ports only from WAN to LAN. Even when the port is same when I'm trying connect to "myname.dyndns.com" from my local LAN the router route it for the fastest alternate what is mean translate it to local LAN connection (192.168.1.1) and then it's not get forwarding because after the router translate it it's not WAN connection anymore... -

1- I'm trying to do an elegant installation without lot's of cables, adapter and etc... 2- This is outdoor camera so I don't have outlet nearer 110vac(or 220vac in my case)... BTW- I found this: http://www.amazon.com/ETS-SMEA-1-Microphone-Interface-Ethernet-Powered/dp/B00D8UPB8K but it's seem big, not elegant not water proof (for outdoor using)... -

Hikvision iVMS 4500 connecting problems
zivtal replied to zivtal's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi, I think I found why to fix the problem... Now it's work... I have been enabled UPnP on Hikvision NVR Network Settings and set "Port Mapping Mode" to manual and then set the port that the WAN get to connect (for example: HTTP Port: 9901). I attached screen shot of what I done... I don't really know what UPnP should do but it's seems like the problem fixed. Now I can connect from WAN(3G) or Local LAN using my dyndns address... -
Hikvision iVMS 4500 connecting problems

How are you configuring iVMS-4500, what port are you using? If it does work with Dahua, then you should have NAT loopback, and it would also work with Hikvision. Looks like you are configuring iVMS-4500 wrong. This is what I don't understand... My Dahua IPC-HFW3300C set IP 192.168.1.110 port 37777 (local) and I'm connecting always to "myname.dyndns.com" port 9001, The router always route incoming port 9001 to 192.168.1.110 port 37777. Always I mean while I'm connecting from WAN(3G) or from local LAN everything work. My Hikvision NVR set IP 192.168.1.240 port 8000 and I'm connect to "myname.dyndns.com" port 9901 the router set forwarding incoming port 9901 to 192.168.1.240 port 8000 and it's work only from WAN(3G) but not work if my iPhone connected to local LAN... In the iVMS Device manager it's show like the NVR connected when I try to open "Live view" it's load the streams and then I get on the streams "Connection failed.". Maybe, But again I don't understand how with Dahua IPC-HFW3300C & IPC-HF3200 it's work perfect and with the Hikvision NVR it's not work... -
Hikvision iVMS 4500 connecting problems
zivtal replied to zivtal's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
NAT and NAT loopback arte two different things. If you want to connect from inside the same network using the dyndns.org domain, your router must support NAT loopback. Otherwise, from inside the network you will need to use the lan IP (192.168.1.x or whatever). Checking with dlink support. I'll update... BTW- I do same things direct to DAHUA IPC and there it's work perfect from WAN and from (Local) LAN (connect to "myname.dyndns.com" port 9001 and the router forwarding to 192.168.1.110 port 37777)... That's why I don't understand why with Hikvision NVR it's so complicated. -

I don't sure if my D-Link DSR-250N support internal routing but I would like to connect from anywhere (WAN or LAN) to same IP address such "myname.dyndns.org" port 9904 until now it's only work with 3G and maybe with another WIFI (I mean not the WIFI that the NVR connected, I didn't checked it). BTW- When I connect directly to Dahua IP camera I can connect from anywhere by using "myname.dyndns.org" (from WAN or from LAN everything work). -
Sorry I'm new. after posting I see there is another section for IP Cams that question belong to there. So I posted again. And didnt find option to remove this post...

I already have Hikvision NVR It's really hard to find Dahua NVR(s) in Israel. But I have problem when I'm trying to connect to my NVR from iPhone iVMS 4500 (from Internet, With local LAN all working)...But from outside I got error It's connect to NVR but don't show me the streams. Got error while connecting to cameras' stream... I tried everything (Port forwarding and everything looking current).
