I am looking to setup a CCTV system. I am very new to all of this so any help is much appreciated.
I would like....
1. 3 cameras around the outside of the house
2. Access via mobile
3. IP based cameras - Wireless if possible. - Night vision - Motion detection.
I have the below currently
DS2413+ - 36TB storage
TP-Link TL-WR1043ND 300Mbps Wireless N 4 Gigabit Port Cable Router - DD-WRT firmware.
The Synology NAS comes with a surveillance station but I would prefer to use open source.
I also have a Pi, HTPC and 2 laptops (1 linux mint, 1 windows)
I live in rented accommodation but will be there for several years and have permission from the landlord to install the cameras, however I would like as little impact on building as possible.
Also I would want the cameras to be very subtle and not stick out too much. Choosing the cameras and understanding the installation process has been the most difficult area for me, hence I am here.
I have a budget or around £600. Hope you can help.
