  1. We bought a few Genrui DVRs. It has a built-in webserver which can be accessed via Internet Explorer. It appears to be using ActiveX control. DVR came with a Software CD containing "CMS" named software which can be used to access DVR camera streams remotely. It also contained zMeye android software to view individual camera streams. I was wondering if there is a way to access any particular camera channel directly using URL ? Like what if I want to stream a particular camera video to VLC. If CMS software and zMeye software can do it, then it must be possible. But how ? In the network config options it shows the following info : Cmd Port : 3357 HTTP port : 8080 Data port : 3356 Talk port : 3360
  2. I've looked into Loco M5. Am I correct in saying, it acts as a ethernet to wifi bridge and creates an Access Point ? So any device that needs to connect to the remote site, simply connects to Loco M5 wifi network.
  3. Hi, We have an installation of 8 analog PTZ cameras. The where we have to deploy is huge, think of a refinery. There monitoring station is way far off from their camera sites. Look at the attached image for an idea of distances. I need advice on providing connectivity from central monitor to cameras as Coax is out of the question. I am thinking video to fiber media converter with RS-485 support.
