It's alright people, don't panic. The system is working fine. The problem is that the cameras are C**p, or should I say, low quality. You have to be about 2' away to get any detection. Oh well, you get what you pay for. I did make a point of getting a system with 4 extra channels, thinking that it may not be that effective. Anyway, problem 1 solved. Now for a solution to problem 2;) Mike

Hello all, I recently purchased the above system. Floureon security system 8CH D1 HDMI DVR + 4 Outdoor Cameras. I have set it up and it works fine. What I cannot do, (but want to do), is get the motion activation recording working. In other words, I want it to record, only when there's movement. It will record on all 4 cameras manually. And I believe (though I haven't tried) on a time schedule. It is not networked or connected with wifi, etc, at this stage. The instructions are pretty much gibberish (chinese translation). Is there anybody out there who has some experience with this system? All help gratefully appreciated. Thanks, Mike
