    Survtech and ssnapier thank you both for your help. I'm going to try the KTD-83 I'll let you know how it goes.

    These can be hooked to the DVR and controlled by the DVR or WEB interface from a PC remotely via the internet?

    I have a system I am designing that will need to have 6 PTZ cameras. They will be controlled from the computer interface software to the DVR. Because of the location and distances it would be nice to go home run on the control wire rather then diasy chain the control wire. Has anyone worked with this type of arrangement and if so what mfg RS-485 star/hub repeater did you use?
