I have a strong suspicion that my stepfather is physically abusing my mother when I'm not around. I have a plan. I need two or three cameras that can capture high quality video up to 20 feet away, decent audio (or a separate device for this if the right camera can't do the audio), can record for long periods (3 days per would be ideal but I'd settle for as little as 8 hours). Ideally the files should be able to be edited on software like camtasia. I need very small cameras that are easily hidden in places usually overlooked. For right now lets assume money isn't an issue but I don't want to go nuts. Pretty much anything over 700 dollars is out of the question. If it recorded wirelessly to my computer via usb stick that would be great.
