Hello, i am a bit new at this. quick question. i have a controller that has 2 output connectors, 485 and 232. i have to 2 Sony EVI-HD1 cameras which only have 232 connectors on the back (VISCA In and OUT- 8-pin connector). i know that i can daisy chain the two cameras to each other as they are not far away via the rs232 8-pin connector. the problem is that the controller and the first camera are about 175' away. so i know that the rs232 will not travel that far. so do i just need to connect the 2 wires via the rs485 on the back of the controller the go all the way 175' to the first camera, then put that little convertor on it to go from the rs485 to rs232? like this convertor
