Hello CCTV enthusiasts! We build hybrid CCTV service for IP cameras and really using it for our needs. But there are a lot of capacity for everybody. Hello, I am developer of one surveillance system and just spoke to one guy at tech forum. He asked if we supported sound from IP camera. This is quite interesting question, because I never consider this as valuable functionality. But this moment I am not sure. Can it really help you if you monitoring noisy retail space ? Hello, Generally speaking there are 2 types of systems: pure cloud , and hybrid. For cloud based IP cam just push video into provider host where hybrid has all data processing on your local computer but allow to access your camera from outside via browser or app. Is there any preferences among different groups of people ? I personally dont think small business would like cloud based due to price, but for housewife looking at cutie kitten it could be ok. Another question, is it true that cloud based system can reach your monthly traffic cap quickly? Thanks Aleksey
