Your change includes authorization, so you don't know if it's a video or auth problem. Have you tried disabling the username/password on the camera and trying it? I thought I read that the latest version of QT no longer supports RTSP.

What is the reason for spending $200 for a 720p cam with questionable quality when the Swann/Hikvision 1080p cams are $350 for a pair at Costco? I can see the interest in the cheap 0.3mp Foscams because of the price point, but their better ones just don't have the value per dollar. And if you want eight cams you'll need two of those switches as only four of the eight ports are powered.

Does it have to be a port? A Grandstream GXV3504 has four analog inputs and outputs them as four digital streams like rtsp://IPADDRESS:554/[CHANNEL].
