this gives me the requirements for the software, but i need min requirements for hardware, the more HD cameras i add the faster my graphics card needs to be aswell as RAM requirements i dont want to spend an arm and a leg and over spec the machine this is why im looking for minimum spec. i can also just google but i know forums work and this is why i have joined to give my knowledge in exchange for some that i know i can trust

Xprotect Essentials is definitely worth the effort, the user interface and the functionality of it is supurb. Milestone is just about to release a new version of it which will have some nice features. can i ask what price you are buying your Milestone at and how many cameras you are wanting to put in place?

Hey all Please can i get some help with a server spec. i have 8 axis P3004v cameras and i'm using milestone essentials but i need to know what my minimum server spec needs to be for me to use it as a viewing station without lag or jumping in the video. thanx guys
