  1. I am looking to have some outdoor security cameras installed that can be controlled remotely through internet. My plan was a regular PTZ CCTV dome camera (RS485/COAX connections) and to get an IP Network converter installed in the camera housing (converting to ethernet) and then running ethernet cable from there to the internet router inside the building. One problem that comes to mind is some of the locations are at broadcast tv/radio transmitters. Granted, I'm no engineer and very new to CCTV, but seems to me that this would be a major source of interference. Would this be an issue I'd likely face? And if so, what could be done to correct the interference? Would I need to put some type of interference blocker on the Ethernet cable or just what would my options be? Thanks for any help you could provide!
