I did a search through the forums, but did not see this question answered, although I did see a lot of good starting points.
The system is an 8 Channel Network DVR, Model No. LH408000
I bought this from a friend who no longer remembers the admin password, it HAS been changed from the 000000 that it came with as the default. I have been trying to find ways to reset back to factory default, but to say Lorex support is dismal is a huge understatement.
My goal is to get it back to factory spec. I looked and could not find a reset button/hole which some of the other systems appear to have. I did also read that there are some button combinations that you might be able to hold while doing power on and power off or that removing the battery might work.
Any advice, especially specific steps to try would be very much appreciated!
