I am in the process of setting up a police interrogation room using a GV-650 card and 1 cam. I also purchased the lourue verifact A mic. I need some help building a switch box with 4 switches that control the power to the cam, mic, and 2 visual signals. All of which are 12v DC. I have tested the cam and mic and cutting the power turns them off. Since it is an interrogation room, I need to cut off the audio when an attorney is speaking to a client. Cutting off the video is not a must, but why not since I can cut the audio. I also need some suggestions on visual signals. I am looking for a 12v DC strobe that I can mount outside the door to alert other officers that an Interrogation is taking please. I also need a single solid or blinking red led to light in the room to alert the interrogation officer to come out... I am at a loss looking for this. I have the rest of the system ready to go, but need help with the switches and visual signals. Since everything will be 12v DC, I would like to find compatible switches to break the power going to each item. I would like to get either a rocker switch that lights up or a push button switch that lights up and a black project box. I also need some help wiring it. I have never done it before, and am not sure if I should get plugs for the power supplies to go to or just run the wires in and break them with the switch. I need to get this done ASAP so any help would be appreciated!!!! Thanks!
