Hi the toss
Thanks for you reply.
You are right, I have used a RF wireless transmitter to transmit signal from CCTV to DVR and it works.
Do you aware of any device that can do the same job using a single wire as carrier (not wireless).
Hi rebel998
Thanks for the reply.
Of course I can but the problem is I do not have CCTV wire for that 7th CCTV camera. All I have only a single copper wire (shown in second pic)
Hi All
I have hikvision DS-7308HFI-SH DVR (8 channel) with 6 analog 650TVL CCTV cameras.
When construction of my house was going on then wiring for my 6 cctv cameras was done. Below is the wire used for CCTV cameras:
However I want to attach one more CCTV to my DVR but the problem is I do not have any dedicated CCTV wiring for this.
I am using an adapter to power my new CCTV and some how I have only single unused copper wire (used for household electricity like i the picture below) spare from my new CCTV camera to my DVR .
My question is can I use this single copper wire to transmit video signals from my CCTV to DVR .
if two wires are must then can anyone suggest a device that can multiplex the signal of two wires at CCTV end so that they can be transmitted over a single wire and later demultiplex at DVR end.
