I have a Q-See QC818 8-Channel POE NVR and am looking for an outside 720P dome camera I can use that will seamlessly integrate with the system just as the cameras that came with the system do. I bought a no-name brand POE dome camera, and was able to get it to stream video through the NVR, but was not able to get the motion detection to work, so the camera is pretty much useless to me (I saw in another thread that other people had the same problem not being able to get motion to work). From reading other threads, it seems the Q-See equipment is just rebranded Dahua. Is this correct? Does that mean if I buy a POE Dahua network camera (IPC-HDW2100), it should work as seamlessly as the Q-see cameras that came with the system. Will I be able to change the settings in the camera through the NVR control panel? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
