I have an eMerge 4000 I think at my office. I'm wanting to hook up a REX button at the front entrance however I'm not quite sure how to set it up on this system. I've Identified which ACM card is attached to the front door and I have access to the eMerge admin console. Now I need help on where exactly to connect the REX button to the ACM card and how to configure it in the console.

Hello all I'm new to security systems and I've been doing a little research, but I'm still wanting some advice. I currently have a Ubiquiti airvision NVR and it's horrible. Software is buggy, mobile viewing is virtually non existent, camera quality is poor. I'm looking at one of these: Dahua NVR3108-P with 4 IP Cameras http://www.dahuasecurity.com/products/nvr310431083116-297.html or Hikvision DS-7608NI-SE/8P with 4 IP Cameras http://www.hikvision.com/UploadFile/image/2014011001572397147.pdf (I'm leaning toward the Dahua because I already have one of their IP cameras) But I want the best NVR regardless. Needs: Easy end user interface for live viewing and playback Solid reliable recording and uptime Web viewing interface compatible with Mac and Windows Mobile viewing app or web interface compatible with iPhone iPad I'm not very proficient with Security Camera systems, I'm an IT Person. This client has had 3 different DVR/NVR's at his house and all have had issues. They seem to have to be rebooted all the time for web and mobile viewing to function properly. The web and mobile viewing will sometimes just not work. The ubiquiti show that cameras a disconnected when viewing from the web. I've just had a lot of stupid little problems with the various hardware out there. I want a set it and forget it solution. Thanks for any suggestions or advice.
