  1. Maybe someone can help. I installed a Vivotek IP 8372 model (outdoor). The purpose is to take snap shot or have video records stored onto a NAS whenever motion is detected. Howerver I have an issue with time delay when recording video clips upon motion detected and I don't know why. As required I configured motion detection 'windows' then I created a server (NAS) and a media (Video Clip) Video clip can be configured with pre event time recorded or not, a recording max time and a file max size So far everything seems working but the only issue I have is with moment at which video starts recording. Motion is detected but the video clip starts in between 5 to 10 seconds delay (I don't no why) Checking the MP4 I do not see the motion detect but the sequence coming afterward. I tried many parameters but I'm clueless. Amazlingly for a same detection I configured a video clip AND snap shot with pictures. The snap shot is doing well . I can see the very fisrt detection picture which indicates the camer sees and detection a motion. Therefore it looks like an issue with the video clip only Can anyone help ?
