I bought 2 cheap Chinese ptz ip cameras - C-p05(EN)C -, they worked ok for a while but now some of the functions don't, tilt works ok but pan does not, also auto tracking stopped working it is exactly the same for both cameras so I suspect it is the software/firmware that has gone wrong, I have no reply from the seller so I can't get any help from them they are cloud based using the YCC365 Plus app has anyone else had any of these and had the same problem?

I thought I would upgrade my Swann analogue DVR to an NVR, so I bought a Sannce, Model No - N48PBE, but I'm not too happy with this system it's lacking a lot of functions can anyone recommend a decent not too expensive NVR system?

I didn't subscribe to the cloud, just let the free 1 month run down, I don't like cloud based cameras because if the internet connection goes down then I don't have access can you recommend an ip PTZ that is not cloud based? -
Hi, I bought a PTZ dome from china, it states that it is a Sony 9600-1. I don't need the camera to switch to night mode as there is plenty of light and the IR triggers the other cameras when it is on guard tour, so I switched it to day mode by calling preset 83, but when I start the tour or A-B scan it switches back to night mode. Any ideas?

Ok, so I go into the camera menu and go down to 'Dome' - main menu -------------------------- System - Dome Camera Language Display Reset Exit then down to 'I R Display' - main menu -------------------------- Comm - I R Display Guard Tours A = B Scan Pan Scan Park Action Privacy Zone Advanced Exit now I've got 'Working Mode' - main menu -------------------------- - Working Mode Auto Testing Time 08S Output Power 100 Illumination 02 Ambient Light 50 I R Switch Zoom 07 Exit enter edit mode and the curser changes to a '>', now I have 3 choices main menu -------------------------- > Working Mode Auto Testing Time 08S Output Power 100 Illumination 02 Ambient Light 50 I R Switch Zoom 07 Exit it's dark and I choose 'Off' and the camera indeed changes to colour (no IR) - main menu -------------------------- > Working Mode Off Testing Time 08S Output Power 100 Illumination 02 Ambient Light 50 I R Switch Zoom 07 Exit I go down to 'Exit' and come out of the OSD - main menu -------------------------- Working Mode Auto Testing Time 08S Output Power 100 Illumination 02 Ambient Light 50 I R Switch Zoom 07 - Exit the camera remains in day (colour) mode until I start a tour or move the camera, then if I go into the OSD menu again, I see the Working Mode has reverted back to 'Auto'

I'll post some pictures of the menus if the moderators allow it, and show what I've tried

Hi, I have a Swann DVR8-4000 system with a PTZ camera, I have set up the presets and a patrol, it works ok, according to the manual I should be able to set up additional patrols but cannot find how to do this, can anyone help?
-
hi I bought a couple of CAM-PTZ-902-SSG cameras from Abancctv and hooked them up to my Swann DVR8-4000, they both work with the pan tilt and zoom etc. however, one of them I can set the presets up ok but the other does not seem to accept the presets. also the one that I have managed to set the presets up on, will not set up a patrol setting. any ideas anyone?
-
I sorted it the patrol problem was because I did not enter all the different presets separately, thats ok now. the second problem was that the camera would reboot when trying to set the presets. I found this to be the voltage drop as the camera tried to pan and re focus on pressing set. the extension lead was quite long so I shortened it and now the camera is accepting the presets. hope this is of some help to anyone with similar problems
