First thing I would check is your power supply. When using IR cameras, your draw on amps are higher at night due to the IR kicking in. If you don't have a big enough power supply to handle the load, it can fade the picture in and out and eventually burn up your power supply. I recommend a 1.5amp power supply depending on the camera and how many LED'S you have. Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with. Thanks

Software for Video Surveillance
Deluxecctv.com replied to catoo's topic in General Digital Discussion
Here is a link to everything that you are asking for: http://www.intransa.com/videosolutions/quality-surveillance.php Try them. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Thanks -
Wow! There is now secretive stakeout in this van. Better off at a construction site, or at a 2008 ISC Show to demo past to present. LOL!

We have sold hundreds to local and national police departments for their vehicles. These work great in cars. You need to get the mobile DVR seeing as though it is shock resistant. Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Thanks

AffordableCCTV, I don't know how many years you have been in this business, but that's not true at all. If you compare the Sony to a generic off brand with a so called Sony chip built in, you will find a bit of a difference. Especially when it comes to night and when you have an eye for it. Your average customer that has no background in CCTV will not be able to tell as much. That has been people’s biggest complaint with this stuff. They think they are getting Sony and it turns out it is not. They get upset. Why do you think that Sony spends millions of dollars on researching better products and technology? Because #1 they want to be the best, #2 they want the best product for the buck. Trust me, we have set up a huge test bench and hooked about 50 camera's Sony, Panasonic, Pelco, American Dynamics, Generic, and ECT. They all have different test results. Sony along with Panasonic seems to be the highest quality. The thing is, people are cheap these days, let’s face it. We need to educate them on why they should go with a better camera for the long term, not the short term.

I think the guys above me explained this really well. Let us know if you need the cameras that do not put out that glow. We can guide you in the right direction. Thanks

rain and PTZ domes...
Deluxecctv.com replied to libertysurveillance's topic in General Digital Discussion
Yes, you want Rain-X or a plastic safe wax. This is what we have been using for years for our PTZ domes. Seems to work great and keep the rain off the domes. Let us know if we can help you any other way. Thanks -
There are tons of guys selling the more inexpensive cameras that have the same capabilities as Sony. Sony is a great brand, but there are cameras overseas being produced with the actual Sony chip set built into the camera. With the right lens, this makes it just as good as Sony. The digital is for the chip that is inside. What are the lines of res on these cameras? Do you have a model number? Thanks

Anything is possible of course with the exception of money. If you have tons of money to spend on this systems then yes. It can be done. If not, then you are out of luck at this point. Sorry could not help you any further.

Looks ok. Not sure about it though. I have never seen that.
-
No, just mount the vandal dome sideways. Find one that is 100% water tight and that has the 3 axis mount inside. Then fasten it to the wall or concrete. This should work very well. As for the rain on the dome, just use rain-X or mount it right under and eve. Maybe even create an artificial eve for it. If all else fails, bake a cage for it. I have seen weird looking cages been built for these types of things. Here is a picture of one.

All I can say is vandal proof dome. This would fix that problem.

Yeah, consult Pelco. They will set you up with a good scamatic. They are brilliant when it comes to this. Let us know if we can help you with anything? What cameras are you going with? Pelco?
-
Yeah, all manufactuers are cutting down on the B/W cams. Why buy B/W when you can buy color for almost just as cheap? I guess if you must have them, better buy them now.
-
This is getting to be more difficult to locate. Audio is now becoming a problem in most states. The only ones that can get their hands on this stuff are law enforcement agents. The law is cracking down on audio.

We are about to use the diamond series in about 1 month. We are doing a large job here at a repo center. I will keep you posted.

Yeah, those cams are great. We sell them for $125.00 and that includes the power supply. A lot of people like them for indoors believe it or not. They have a nice clarity to them.

Hey Rory, Looks like the same PTZ that we sell. We also carry the Pelco PTZ with the 8X optical and 10X Digital. 80X all together. I have seen these and they are great. Pelco always stands behind it's name.

Our company has been contacted several times for our surveillance products because they hated Swann products. I have had more complaints with their products than any other. Also the Costco systems ae terriable as well. Hope this helps. We have our distributor programs if you are interested. Thanks
-
No, Just hook it up to a sensor beam and when it is tripped the PTZ will move in that direction. If you need directions on how to do this, please contact me. Thanks

Hello, This is a big question when it comes to night vision. There are several different factors you must include when buying. You need a night vision camera with a true IR cut filter. You also need a good quality camera in order for the night vision to work properly and not be blury. Hope that helps a bit. Contact me if you have any other questions. Thanks

330 or 550 TVL whats the difference
Deluxecctv.com replied to GunRunner1's topic in Security Cameras
550 is way better than 330. The higher the tv lines the better the picture looks. It's like when it comes to tv's HD verses non HD. There is a difference. Hope that helps some. -
dark picture problem with bullet cameras
Deluxecctv.com replied to Rebco's topic in Security Cameras
Hello, Looks like your bullet cameras are not equipet with the Auto Iris feature. What cameras are you using. My second guess would be the power source. Is this happening on all the cameras or just one?
