I just got a response from Swann. They said the NVR was only compatible with the 720P cameras not the 1080P. I guess that's what I get for believing Best Buy's website.

I recently purchased the Swann NVR8-7085. It says it compatible with the SWANN SWNHD-820CAM-US. Is there any way I can use the Hikvision DS-2CD2032 instead? I've seen numerous threads about flashing the Swann camera with Hikvision firmware. What about flashing a Hikvision camera with Swann firmware? Any help is greatly appreciated.
