  1. Thanks for replying. Sorry for not elaborating. It is a samsung nvr (SRN4000) and it's not being used as standalone. All devices including cameras and NVRs are being managed by samsung server (SSM) equivalent to VMS. Each user uses a client software installed on their pc and uses their own login credential. The login credentials for users and groups are created in the server. Now our problem is, when 2 or 3 users wanted to do a seach/playback on the same NVR it is no longer possible. Let's say there's a user currently playing-back, if another user attempts to do playback as well, a warning message will pop up saying "Max. 1 user for remote playback". The previous firmware the warning message says "Max. 3 users for remote playback". I'm thinking if there's a way to force downgrade the firmware, something like through console, but I don't have any idea if its possible. Or is it possible to do a restore factory that also restore's the stock firmware?
  2. Good day. As the title says, the reason I want to downgrade is because, the latest firmware removes or limit some useful features. Specifically the maximum remote users for playback reduced and limited to only 1 user at a time, the previous firmware allowed up to 3 users. This change was never mentioned in the change log. I've tried to upload the previous firmware but the NVR rejected it, says the image version is lower then the current. Any help or suggestion in what I can do? Thanks in advance
  3. If you the option in settings the says "Hour Meter Warning" just set it to off. Though our DVR (WJ-HD716) is not exactly the same model as yours, I think some settings are similar. Hope it helps
  4. Good day. I am working in Casino industry, we've just upgraded from the same brand Panasonic system (sys. controller, DVR, Matrix Switcher) to the newer models. Now our we are using SX-650 matrix, CU-650 system controllers and WJ-HD716k DVRs. The set up was, Camera directed to the Camera in of matrix, then video out of matrix to the camera in of recorders, then monitor 2 out of recorders to the matrix switcher to associate the DVRs into the system, meaning you can access and control the DVRs on all the monitor out of the matrix, by the way we have 32 monitor out, you can also playback immediately the cameras the you were viewing on any monitors. Sorry for the long intro, my question is, why when during playback, the recorded images were not so clear? But live view are crystal clear, my quality setting was set to the highest (resolution, ips, recording quality). Tried also output it to HDMI, but the pictures were the same. Many thanks in advance for any suggestions.
