Where is the picture of the LED? I've dealt with the digimerges before so I can maybe help you with some more information.

DDNS: Do I need to add any in the MX record?
Samir replied to Esinem's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Setting up email requires you to have an email account on a server somewhere and all the email client settings input into the dvr. Basically, the dvr is acting like a mail client and sending you email that way. So you're essentially setting up an email client, which if you've not done before is going to require some Internet searching and reading. -
Avtech DVR remote viewing error Please use the 32 bit ie
Samir replied to Pakistani1's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Sounds like you're using win 7 64-bit. There is a 32-bit compatibility mode for ie that you can select. That should fix the problem. -
Hotel Video Surveillance Recommendation(1080p, BNC, 20 cams)
Samir replied to kinkachou's topic in Digital Video Recorders
1080p analog is really going to be the dealbreaker there. You could convert to an all digital system, but you'd need to change all the cameras and convert each of the bnc cables to ethernet using some media converters. Not a cheap proposition. -
"The current input timing is not supported by the monitor"
Samir replied to bsculptor's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Try a different monitor, especially an older crt that won't have as many restrictions on resolutions. The other thing would be to connect a video monitor to the monitor/spot out if there is such a connection. -
I hate it when this happens. I had to replace a unit and the built-in http viewer worked differently than the old one, not working properly with the desktops we had. I actually had to find one of the older units--luckily, the distributor had one and gave me a killer deal on it.

If you need this exact same dvr, you'll probably just have to buy another one unless you can reach the manufacturer for repair.

Dahua NVR Losing Network Connection Every Second
Samir replied to kmax1940's topic in Computers/Networking
Set it manually on the switch/router you're connecting to and see if that helps. -
Anyway to try connecting it to a different router to test?
-
Something sounds borked. Is there a way to factory reset the unit and reconfigure?
-
You can also just get some massive cfl bulbs in some existing lights that would help to bring more light to the area. I used two Eiko 85w in my two lights next to my garage to light up my entire front yard.

If you can use their app remotely, you can try using the other ones. But you will need their app working remotely first.
-
Just put your dvr in the dmz and be done with it.
-
Can you log in locally with the same phone?

Port Forwarding or Virtual Server on router settings
Samir replied to bentech's topic in Computers/Networking
Since technically it is a server, just use virtual server. Dlink knows what the difference is, but it beats me. -
If there is no IP address conflict from the ISPs, the only thing I can think of is that there is some sort of routing issue with the ISP. I would contact them as there shouldn't be any issue with two devices with public IPs talking on their network.
-
Sounds like the cameras aren't releasing the old IPs. I bet they will all start magically working once the old dhcp lease time expires and they pick up new addresses.

Security system with satellite internet (remote location)
Samir replied to go_snow's topic in Computers/Networking
Instead of satellite, I'd go with 3/4g cellular, which should be much faster even in remote areas. -
iVMS-4500 Quit working? Can access using remote web though
Samir replied to carito's topic in Computers/Networking
For testing purposes, try connecting the dvr straight to the Internet connection. Let's see if it works this way or not first. -
It must be something in the app or something is starting to go wrong with the dvr.
-
The 192.168.15.1 is a private address IP. You need your public IP to access your dvr.

Dahua NVR Losing Network Connection Every Second
Samir replied to kmax1940's topic in Computers/Networking
Can you manually set the speed and duplex of the dahua ethernet port? I'd try setting it to something other than auto-negotiation and see what happens. -
If you have a static IP, great! Just get your Internet working, connect the dvr to your dmz port or enable dmz for the dvr. Then you can just log in via the static ip. Done!

You would probably have more success getting their app to work remotely than to use another app.
-
Maybe. It depends on the browser in the tv.
