I have recently bought a Qvis Atlantis D1 4CH, managed to get it set up and networked, I have also set up email notifications with motion activation on CH1. However I get the email notification to my mobile device but no photograph? Is that right? I just bought the QVIS system after replacing a cheap unbranded Chinese make which sent me notifications with a photograph, I thought this Qvis model would at least do the same. Am I doing something wrong? Can't find specific answer in the manual or anywhere on the web. Thanks in advance.

I want to spend as little as possible on a system that will do the job well and fit the criteria. I was looking as around £300-£400 for system & cameras, I will fit it myself. Thanks

I'm fairly new to the CCTV world, and I'm looking for a good system to monitor my home. I am familiar with the QVIS system interface so would prefer a QVIS system, but there are so many different ones I'm confused. Basically my criteria is: 5 cameras, 1 being internal 2-3 cameras to have audio capacity At least 2TB hard drive USB connection on front of unit To be able to connect to home network, and view footage from smart phone Good quality footage in order to be able to identify persons both day and night Can someone suggest the most appropriate unit, and give advice on which cameras I should get?
