I'm going through the exact same evaluation. I've been using NVR3 for 6 months, but it does not scrub footage easily, and the Android app for it is very limited and kludgy. I just loaded Milestone. Maybe they're having a bad day, but several links on their getting started page are down, including their FAQ link. (Never a good sign from a tech company.) Also, can't get the Android app to work with my server, but it also doesn't work with their Demo Server. Hmmm.

Did you ever find an answer to this? I have the same concern.
