NVR realtime preview
william_netvisiondvr replied to Zorro's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Hi Zorro, Actually our NVSS does support max. 64ch realtime preview, but due to the NVSS6102's decode ability(for small system), we suggest users to work with max. 36ch * D1 or 18ch * 720P or 9ch * 1080P realtime preview. And it does support to do sequence between several cameras in a window.. -
DAHUA DVR: User "admin" locked by mistake
william_netvisiondvr replied to HecBravo's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Yes, the DVR will allow users to input ID and password to log in again after it was locked 20-30 minutes.. But your problem is you don't have password for ID admin any more, that's why I asked you to contact Dahua or their local dealer or your provider to reset the password.. Usually you have to provide the date information displayed on the DVR and they will give you a super password, then you can input to log in and then modify your own password. -

3MP camera -NVR that can support this @ 4:3 rather than 1080
william_netvisiondvr replied to keithjmason's topic in Digital Video Recorders
As it is Hikvision 3MP camera, it is better to select Hikvision NVRs such as DS-77xx series. Acturally Hikvision NVRs only limitted the bitrate for all cameras in the NVR, didn't limit the resolution. It can access max. 5MP resolution and record correctly. Also you can select no brand ones from some company such as China Netvision. Or you can choose Netvision's own developped PC structured Linux system--The NVSS, which can access IPC from D1 to 5MP resolution, it can access standalone DVRs / HDTVI / HDCVI DVRs too for 2nd Storage use. Max. 16 / 24 / 32 Hot-Swap HDDs(4TB for each) for huge systems too. The system supports auto add IPC / POS / IVA too.. More information, you can visit their website: http://www.netvisiondvr.com/Home/SubCategoryDetails/97 http://www.netvisiondvr.com/NVSS/NVSS_all_function_page.html -

william_netvisiondvr replied to benko's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
Hi Benko, You are right there are two options: 1. Use a PC based software + Video&Audio Compression cards, of course the software has to support to access IP cameras. 2. Use a standalone Hybrid DVR device, which supports to access analogue cameras and IP cameras at the same time. There are many such solution. -

Hi Dexter987, Acturally I'm not sure what is your application. But I think you have to provide more information about the brands of the 3 DVRs; and you want to manage all of them in one software platform since the distance between the DVRs and the monitors is 35 meters, users even can not see what was showed on the monitors when operate on the DVRs locally. We Netvision supports many brands of DVRs such as Hikvision & Dahua & XM etc.. also we have good solution for many application, you can put on information, and we can try to give you a good solution. -
