    Change DVR SerialNumber

I know a tool can change the serial number of some cards. You can ask your hardware supplier for that. But it's useless for transfering the software. As JOINDVR said, you have to get a new license for the new one.

EyeMax DVR not working on Vista 64 bit?

I haven't used the kind of software you used. But generally speaking, a normal software supports any OS. The only thing you should confirm is whether your hardware supports Vista 64 bit. However, few hardware support Vista 64 bit as I know. The recommanded OS for many hardwares and softwares are win2000, 2003, XP, WIN7 and Vista 32 bit.

    PC DVR Card software problem

What's type of your pc dvr card? If you can't solve the problem successfully, you can try to test some other softwares. If you like, you can download some from our website.
  5. Yes, I am in China. 5.29 is one of our softwares, which is made for Hikvison but it's an old version. Did you try to contact Hikvision to solve your problem? According to what you said, your settings in the EM-DVR may be not good enough or it's not a good one because you can't view all 16 cameras even via IE. If you don't want to or can't turn to Hikvison, you can send me the WAN IP and port of your EM-DVR. And I will check why it only shows the first 8 cameras. Besides, you can check whether your all channels are main stream or sub stream. When you set it in main stream but choose sub stream to connect, it will be failed. What's your operation system? Windows(2000 and XP) is recommended. And your display card should be good enough. You can't forget to connect 9-16 using video cables, right?
  6. I‘m sorry maybe we have a time difference. I have a 8016HC, but there is no "dns server port" on both the front and Rear panel. Do you only want to connect it to your NVR? Do they in a LAN?If yes, you can connet it to a monitor via VGA port first to set the IP of your EM-dvr. Or if you have a SADP, you can aslo use it to change the IP. The UTP port is used to connect to network. Then just add the EM-dvr to your NVR is ok.If they are not in a LAN, you have to map the port number and http port to your router.
  7. 5.29 is a software from us. Contact me on line, so that I can use teamviewer to help you.

    Server Crash - Hikvision DS-4008HCI

According to what you said, there are some points you should check: 1.Whether your software is a pirate version; 2.Is there virus in your computer; 3.Whether there is a compatibility problem. For Hikvision cards, the following are recommended: OS: Windows 2000(SP4), Windows XP (SP2), Windows Server 2003 CPU: Intel Series, Pentium III 500MHz or above Motherboard: based on Intel 845/865/915/925/945 Chipset Memory:256MB or above Display adaptor: Standard VGA, 32 bit true color mode Video Card:ATI Radeon 7000/ 7200/ 7500/ 8500/ 9000/ 9200 / 9500/ 9600 Series, ATI X300/ X700 series Intel 845/865/915 integrated Extreme Graphics MatroxG450/550/P750 Gigabit: GA-865GME, GA-945PL-G etc If any problems, please contact me. software

But in some softwares, if you have no corresponding register-file, you can do nothing. Even can't preview. I haven't heard of that software. But you can have a try and then tell us the result. Good luck!

    software

I am quite agree with this. If the SDK is not matched with the software, your card can't work normal. Maybe you can offer some pictures or the manufacturer of your card to see if anyone owns the software that support the card.
  11. You can forward two ports of stand alone DVR in router: web port--- default 80(you can change) data port---- default 8000 (you can change) after you forwarded this two ports in router, you can access the standalone dvr from any where. BTW: maybe you can set DNS or static IP in router is better, then you can use domain name ir static IP to access it directly, not need ask the dynamic IP every time.
