Hello Recently i bought a Dahua SD6C230s-hn on aliexpress, but i meet a problem. Only two(The base 2LED was on) of the six ir leds are working. Is it possible there is a setting I need to change or is there a problem? The seller said i need to make different zoom then could make all LED lights on, what is the problem i meet? Could anyone help me for this? Thanks. Andy

1. Pls check if the IR LIGHT CTRL is ZOOM PRI (pls check details on the user manual page21) 2. Pls test zoom in dark. This camera support 30x Optical zoom. Pls zoom step by step till 30x optical, and notice the change of IR lights. 3. If still remains the problem of the IR light, pls ask client to let our tech to check remotely via Teamviewer. Here are the feedback from the seller and we lastly solve the problem, the IR light is OK now, seems i make some small mistake, but they are very patient for my complaint, seems nice. I left them a good feedback. Alexpress now selling many hikvision and dahua cameras, most sellers there are very kind.

Beware of Cantonk and other cheap chinese manufacturers
EmpireTech replied to Sgsecurity's topic in Security Cameras
Oh,that is terrible, in my mind, cheap items always worse quality and support. So the best way is to ask them for replacing the boards for you, replace them, this could help control the lost. Or else all are rubbish.... Then a nightmare. -

To buy or not to buy from aliexpress.com ?
EmpireTech replied to JohnnyBeGood's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
so the camera's firmware is Chinese, and won't be a big problem for your own using. If you buy English firmware camera, that would be cost more, this is their selling policy. -

To buy or not to buy from aliexpress.com ?
EmpireTech replied to JohnnyBeGood's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Correct, the firmware just could be in English, when new one comes, all can't update anymore. But anyway English firmware is bit more expensive, this is the way Hikvision to protect their market in the world. -

EmpireTech replied to JohnnyBeGood's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
The cameras on Aliexpress are using Chinese firmware, as now Hikvision has a very strict control for the firmware, so you could only update the firmware to a fixed version, if new one comes, your side can't update then, and these cameras are selling in Chinese market, just some guys buy on Chinese market and sell overseas. That is why so cheap from China, but anyway, it would be good if you just for your own using, quality is still nice. -
Security camera system recommendation for school outdoor
EmpireTech replied to starcraft04's topic in Security Cameras
How about use Dahua HDCVI cameras? They are cheap, but if send form China, this still can't cover your cost. So it's bit hard to find such cheap ones, but mostly cheap ones poor quality. That is it. -
most hidden cameras are low resolution and don't have nightvision, so i think you could buy some professional cameras.

Red Infrared Lights Visible? IPC-HFW4300S vs. DS-2CD2032-I
EmpireTech replied to eahheretik's topic in Security Cameras
i am afraid most cameras on the market are visable, but i think the thief won't come if they see the infrared. -
What is the budget do you have? I recommend dahua SD59230S-HN, this camera has 2Mp Full HD 16x Digital Zoom 30x Optical zoom , it works very nice, so you could record it anytime, and then you will know when your neighbor do such stupid thing. Hope this could help you. Andy

Question, Recommendation Hikvision DS-2CD2432F-I
EmpireTech replied to haplo888's topic in Security Cameras
For baby using, i think for Dahua is much better, it is a fixed camera and has 3.6mm lens.IPC-K100 this camera is not wifi, and could have a nighvision for 6meters, so it won't have strong IR, it suits for your baby room. Most of all, could watch through your phones using the app. Hope this could help you. Andy
