summary: according to calculator, will need 40TB for 30fps or 10TB for 7fps. Assuming there is already a server for running the point of sale, do I need a dedicated server for the video backup storage? If so, about what specs? What brand/model hard drives do you suggest? What kind of hard drive rack enclosure do you suggest? details: I've done consumer IT and video but never enterprise, so this is foreign to me. With price being a major factor, what do you suggest I use for backup/redundancy.
