Well that model is more expansive than that. I don't know where you seen that price, but that camera is around 600 US Dollars online, which converts to around 745 Canadian Dollars. That Camera is a 2MP Smart Outdoor Series, that has a built in heater and blower, which i highly doubt you will be getting that specific one for 260cnd. Also that camera has a built in lens range from 2.8-12MM, so you can set it anywhere in those ranges. No you cannot just replace the lens. The junction box that comes with it allows you to Ceiling Mount it or Wall Mount it. The camera can be angled pretty much in any way possible, plus you can rotate and mirror the image once you log into the cameras web interface settings. These units only come in white. You can break it down and remove the lens and base to paint it a different color if you want. The max resolution is 1920x1080 at 30FPS, that would be your best bet to getting the best quality out of that camera. Also where you trying to put these, as in what kind of environment, are they just for home or for business. Also what kind of NVR are you going to use and how many total cameras are you trying to get. Here is the spec sheet on it if you need more details: http://www.hikvision.com/UploadFile/image/2014012215300065344.pdf

Hikvision live view presets in the NVR web interface?
abdelm01 replied to alexf40's topic in IP/Megapixel Cameras and Software Solutions
Yes you should be able to. Once you are in the web interface and and are viewing that ptz in live view and also have it positioned to where you want to save that one preset, on the right you should see all the presets, click on on, and you will see the set button but that looks like a square box in side of the select preset number and you would select set. -
Hikvision can't be viewed after upgrade of router
abdelm01 replied to jbaugh's topic in Security Cameras
You have a few options here. 1st. Option You can go into your routers settings and change the IP address of the router back to 192.168.1.1 and set the starting IP address to 192.168.1.100. But once you set the IP of the router to 192.168.1.1, it will automatically start the IPs at .100+ . If you have the newest GUI of the Linksys, you should be able to go to Connectivity--> Local Internet and change the Routers IP to 192.168.1.1. 2nd Option. Connect the NVR/DVR back to the old router, log into the NVR/DVR and set the IP to DHCP so it can pick up an IP that the Router gives. Or just Connect it the old router and change the IP to a static one that is 192.168.10.x and then unplug it and plug it back in the new router and try to log into it with the new IP you just gave it. Option 1 is probably going to be your easiest and quickest way of going. If still having issues, i can teamviewer in and set it up for you. -
Hikvision - how to use alarm outputs from web interface?
abdelm01 replied to Securame's topic in General Analog CCTV Discussion
Usually after you set the alarm outputs, if you want that alarm to go off when there is motion, after setting the motion on, you just go to linkage and select the alarm output you want to go off. Ill see if i can find a document on that in describing on how to do it in the Web Interface. -
Hikvision - how to use alarm outputs from web interface?
abdelm01 replied to Securame's topic in General Analog CCTV Discussion
Well if the camera its self does not have alarm inputs, you won't have a section for the alarm in the camera web interface, unless the camera itself has alarm inputs. Are you talking about the Camera or NVR/DVR Web Interface -

low ceiling giant pendant lighting
abdelm01 replied to mackyboy's topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Looks pretty simple. Just don't put the camera right above the light where the light would bounce back and blind the lens. Put the camera on the other side of the room facing towards that area if needed to be covered. You can use just the simple hikvision cameras with NVR will do the job. Can you take more pictures of the area so we can get a better look around for camera location opinions. -

LMAOO " title="Applause" /> " title="Applause" /> " title="Applause" /> Now thats a good one. Sounds like he should have been in the movie American Sniper. I should invite him down here to Louisiana and take him Duck hunting this weekend with all this great rain thats coming through and see if he can hack the thoughts of the ducks out here at Catahoula lake. Are you sure Edward Snowden is not your neighbor? Sounds like a lot of conspiracy going on there. -

LMAO.... I dont think it would do any good, this neighbor is so cunning and savy that even if the poster had landmines and claymores scatter about their property, the neighbor would find a way to detonate them on the poster. LMAOO no kidding..... Loria, also if your camera lens is to high to the gutters or vinyl, your IRs could bounce right off of them and reflect back into the lens, seen it a lot of times. If thats the problem, point the camera down or put a junction box between the camera and overhang outside. Man this is starting to get me curious, feeling like coming down to your house and meet your neighbors, sounds like they could be fun drinking buddies. I'm thinking a stakeout, ill bring my hunting gear with night vision scopes and binoculars. Also you can put you a couple IR PTZs to patrol everything. I would also strap a couple fully auto M16 on those PTZ and enable auto-track after dark so, any movement in certain areas would trigger an alarm to the DVR and back to the M16 to fire a few rounds. Man that sounds pretty cool, i have to try to build that prototype. -

You just say the word, and i can come down there and we can build you a surveillance room with monitors everywhere in the room, with 24/7 Operators and upgrade your whole system to a Casino Like setup. We can also setup Analytics to read and capture Facial Recognitions. Set it up as if you were the whitehouse to were if an ant walks on your property, you will be automatically notified and Spot lights are to come on and light up the whole town lol. Money can get you any setup you need. -
What is HNR30P8-8 . Is that HIKVISION but with someone else's product number? What kinds is and can you upload a picture. Im pretty sure its HIK since its using that FW Number. Here is the Latest FW for the DS-7616NI-E2: http://www.hikvisioneurope.com/portal/index.php?dir=Product%20Firmware/Recorder/DS-7600NI-E1%28E2%29%207700NI-E4/V3.0.10%20build141126%20Multi-lingual/ Download and update it and make sure you install the newest Web component that it prompts you too. Make sure when you install the Web Component, you exit out of the browser and then press install, sometimes it gets corrupted when you have the Web browser opened when installing that component.

Could be a Web Component issue. What Firmware Version do you have on the DS-7616NI .

Can you log into the DVR? Please send me a message containing your email address, and i will send you the files needed to reload the FW if you cannot dial directly in the DVR. -
Yes of course you can, but remember, if it only supports 4 cameras, you can not connect 5. If you want to use a port, all you do is make sure the NVR is on the same network and change your camera settings to Manual instead Plug&Play and put your IP that you assigned to the camera. You all you need is one ethernet cable coming from the Lan of the NVR going in to the switch.
-
You should have everything, but some do not come with a Hard Drive. So check if it comes with one or not, if not its ok, you can purchase a 1TB if you want to keep the video for close to a month or less. It come with a mouse. Yes you can set it up so you can view the cameras remotely via smart phone app and pc app.
-
By the time you buy a POE Switch and a NAS. Your best bet is to buy a 4CH NVR (DS-7604NI-SE) and plug the cameras directly into the NVR. The NVR will supply the Video and Power over the Ethernet cable if the camera is plugged directly into the back of the NVR.

Guys, I'm not here to push someone else's business towards you, nor am i here to do referrals nor do i care about money. From experience, with all different companies. I found out they worked the best since they don't have to go through billion dollar corporates to tailor needs for customers. That statement was noted through an opinion. -

Download and install the latest FW with the link below. Not saying that it will work, but according to hikvision, the latest FW supposed to help with 3rd party devices and streams. Give it a try and see what happens. Make sure after upgrade, you delete all browsing history and exist out the browser and then open the NVR web interface again and try. http://www.hikvisioneurope.com/portal/index.php?dir=Product%20Firmware/Recorder/DS-76%2677%2686%2685%2695%2696-ST%20-SP%20-XT-RT/V3.1.7%20build%20141201%20Multi-lingual/ -

Come on tomcctv, i did not say the "only company that can do the job". Giving a good statement about a company is not a harmful thing to do, and going them credit. Oh also they have an office in Canada, not sure exactly where though. -
What is the best resolution and fps combination?
abdelm01 replied to Jyaki's topic in Security Cameras
what kind of environment are they in, are they like in a mall, or store where faces are needed to be identified or just like an general overview. If you need detailed image stick with 3MP but if just a general overview put at 2MP at 30FPS. Also f you have ALOT of traffic and fast moving areas, i would keep it at 2MP with 30FPS. You can put some at 3MP for areas needed and 2MP for others. -

abdelm01 replied to zhen's topic in Digital Video Recorders
Yes you will be able to see your cameras web interface as long as you update your NVR to the newest FW.
