Since I'm using this NVR it is looking 'dead' after a few days and the screen is black, I also can't reach it with internet explorer or goolink APP. After a reboot it is functioning normal. I tried to solve it by setting an automated reset every midnight. That worked for the last weeks but now my NVR 'hangs' after 2 to 3 hours. It looks like something is getting to warm or something. Any ideas??

@ericg, Did you manage to get it working with a password? @mike: I did input the same password in the NVR settings bus as soon as I set a password in the camera the camera picture disappears from the NVR screen. When I leave the password in the camera blank it shows up again in the NVR even if there is still set a password in the NVR settings. I'm still running firmware 20140417.

I'm trying to connect to an IP camera and that works fine but only when I leave the password blank. When I'm using a password in the camera and change it also in the NVR the camera won't connect anymore? Does anyone have an idea why?

Hi Mike, I'm also having problems with motion detection and modifying camera settings from the NVR. It looks like the Onvif protocol in the camera's is compatible with the NVR. I have not tested the camera outside yet but i think that will be no problem because of the heat the camera is producing.

The version i'm using at this moment is 2014.04.16. Still with Motion detection problems.

Do you think the problem is the recorder or the camera? I would say the recorder because I have the problem with both the camera's.

I'm trying to record in motion detection with 2 diffirent IP-camera's but I don't succeed. I am also not able to modify the bitrate of the stream from the camera's, when I change it in the 'video parameters' section and save it the NVR says 'save sucsessfully' but when I re-enter this menu section, the value is back at where it was. So it looks like the onvif is not doing what it should do. I hope someone can help me with this. Thanks!

Hello CCTV'ers I also ordered this mini NVR. (http://www.aliexpress.com/item/4CH-8CH-Mini-NVR-IP-Camera-Recorder-Surveillance-4-CH-8-CH-1080P-960P-720P-HD/1704796387.html) I am using it with these 2 camera's (http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Support-Iphone-and-Andriod-3-7-mm-Korea-Pinhole-Lens-1920-1080-H-264-1080P-Micro/1859184041.html) and (http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2-8-12-mm-Varifocal-Lens-H-264-2-0-Megapixel-Waterproof-Vandalproof-Dome-1080P-2MP/1260729632.html) I get moving pictures from both these camera's as long as I don't enter full screen mode, in full screen mode the picture freezes till I go back to multiviewer mode. I'm also not able to get the motion detection recording working. Another problem is that I only can play back the camera connected to channel1, the other camera's show a black picture in playback mode. Is there anyone who has got the same problems?
