Have you tried factory defaults?
-
1. possible not 3 days, but as much as it possible, after making disk full it will overwrite. IMHO talk to Foscam it must be possible to record with motion if they sell nvr and camera. You can have problems like myself while private protocol for my cameras (i12) works ONLY if the pasword for admin is not set. Have you tried to talk with their reps at facebook? Sometime it can make a mirracle, and supoprt guys get to work while you public show companies incompetence.

If you enable plugins or motion detection .... it will not have enough power. iSpy is awfully cpu hungry.
-
Of course it store as much as free space you have. In my case it stores about 10 days. What happends if you clik on different date, chose channel and search? Please remember that only text with date is changed while the green background still remain on current date! This is somehow illogical and user unfriendly but that is how it works.

Did you touch anything in hdd detection section? My HDDs sometimes are not found after reboot. Dmesg shows nothing about hdd, also mtab. It happends with WD Blue, WD Black, HGSLT all via esata cable with external power supply but i memorize that via usb it also happend. In case you did not deal with it i don't want to touch anything i'm concerned about my current config. Everything works ok - finally. GUI is not fancy or comfortable but i just got used to it. Did some User Experrience expert worked out something in that matter?
-
LOL. I can't set up email on mini nvr. If i find a minut will test settings on camera.
-
Ok. Tested the same setting don't work. You don't have any password set? EDIT: WOW! Works! You can't set password! If you set password it won't connect throught i12 protocol. It looks like Escam QD320 have a bug in firmware. I guess all hzxm cameras have this error also.
-
Hej. Could you give me a print screen of camera settigns working with i12 protocol? I got no signal. I can't force my to work with i12 :/
-
What do you mean as esata adapter?! Post a link to picture, i use esata cable with usb plug for power supply and external usb charger.
-
does firmware show yours hdd capacity? If so it is ok, but there is some bug in firmware (or even hardware) so sometimes hdd is shown with 0 capacity and not working at all.

I have proper port forwarded. Everything works in IE. But not in FF. Why?
-
Yes there is a bug in my cameras firmware. I see that this RMB menu is available only with direct connection, not in IE. Maybe i'm dumb but can't find time sync in regular menus (not under RMB - it calls FF contex menu). It looks like NVR acts different if u use vga or remote management. In that case you should really consider adding current position counter somewhere during playback, and auto move current possition to begining and end of download piece. And one more thing: ACROS found a bug. I can remotely (WAN side) preview with ActiveX in IE, while at Firefox it does not work via port forward! At home firefox works OK. Are there additional ports required to forward so FF will work?
-
The problem is that no matter how i try i can't force NVR to put is own time stamp as overlay on camera stream. Time sync is not a solution since every minute my cameras switch to gmt-8, then ntp sync and gmt+1 back again. Does Nvr time stamp is shown in IE? I don't connect monitor to nvr directly. And how about cameras without its own time stamp? Dont you think that current playback position should be shown somwehere? BTW: This are screenshots from old firmware?!

Port forwarding is 100% ok in this nvr. It must be your gateway problem. Did you forward all ports within this range? Motion detection is defined by camera. Camera have to push onvif event "isMotion: true". Settings at nvr are useless and optional if you device is not 100% Onvif compatible - including motion setting. Just set it up on camera and enable motion detection on each camera channel. Edit: Mike one FUTURE REQUEST While in playback mode could you put time stamp (NVR record time) somwhere in gui? And could it work like that: when i press BACKUP button automaticly begining and end of backup are set to current playback time? It shouldn't be too dificult. My cameras time stamp and nvr local time differs and it is annoying to shoot into prooper time.

Read last few pages or user manual .... page 19
-
Yes. It is solved. It seem to be logical. How ever that is mostly becouse behavior in previous firmware was different. Each channel was combined with preview window. Thx.
-
I have just connected to nvr from work, mapped ports are the same but .... still problem under IE with channels opening only in first window. If you chose to auto open all it works ok, but not when one by one.
-
Does your current firmware is 20140417? Mike in previous posts have written does direct update is possible only from this version. If u have other first update to 20140417.
-
Mike, i have one question does firmware include hd idle package? It would be wise to let hdd fall asleep if not used, for example no motion or no sheduled recording. Second question is when i do motion detection recording, how does pre record work. In my case setting pre record makes nvr motion enabled recording stopped at all. Does camera it self have to keep video in buffer or there is some RAM amount used by NVR? Don't know why you have chosen so small icons over channels, it is hard to se anything. My cameras record when motion is detected but this small running man icon is not changing its color.
-
Yes. I upadated k108 from escam.

Ok, found a 30 minutes to play. I just updated. Everything (including motion detecion) seem to work ok. Previous GUI made better UX - live color, now it looks like inside funeral house Design is better but it is so sad..... especilly when cameras work in IR mode There should be on option to hide PTZ settings. At the beginning i had some problems to localize IP Camera setttings. IMHO camera setting should be easier to access - but usually you do it only onece so it is not a big problem. Bigger problem is IE activeX display mode. Sometimes when i turn more then one channel only last one is displayed in first window. Weird it does not happen always. In FF mode without activeX links to certain functions are combined with labels so you have to click directly into text - not a big problem but annoying, designer could easily fix it with simple bitmap or dynamicly created objetcs. Overall it is a step into good direction. Nothing seem to be really broken. It would be nice to save number of camera windows displayed at onece. So you don't have every time to change it to 4 if you have less then 5 cameras. BTW: After update admin password is not changed and IP set in previous firmware is not changed also. I have to wait to monday to check if remote access ports are still the same, will check at work on fiber connection - on my backup HSPA DC it never worked ok.
-
Not yet. Too much work, will do it at midnight (GMT+1) and report.
-
Mike, before i update i would like to know what is default IP address after update. Is this 192.168.1.188, dhcp or something else?
-
Yes, that is him. I see on your website mininvr 2 with internal hdd caddy when will it be available at your shop? I would buy it and try to sell the current version. Hdd laying next to nvr and additional charger for hdd does not look good at all

Mike, if you want to create polish translation let me know. I see now only english and chinesse interface version. My brother ordered here http://www.aliexpress.com/item/8CH-Onvif-Full-HD-1080P-48V-Real-PoE-NVR-All-in-one-Network-Video-Recorder-for/1995091290.htm. Will this update also be available for this nvr?
