I have a friend with a small business that has 8 dome CCTV cameras installed and Honeywell security video recorder . She is having a problem where all of the indoor cameras have gone very dark. The 2 outdoor cameras still look OK, but any of the ones indoor look like the light is off in the room, when it's not.
She has a "friend" that told her that CCTV cameras just get dark when they get old, or about to go out, but I don't buy it, because it doesn't make sense that all of them (except outside) would go dark and seemingly the same time.
Could this be a power supply issue? It looks like there is a central powersupply box that is feeding all the cameras.
