Hello everyone, first post here... So thank you in advance for your time in reading this ! I need some help from you guys. I want to replace my crappy package deal (from fry's, shame on me) and get something a little less toy and more professional. The main feature that i need though is for my new system to be able to either record to a FTP or be able to schedule FTP backups (daily or hourly) which are sent to the FTP and then erased from the DVR. Basically i want to have an onsite DVR that contains little to no data and is able to send that data offsite, without having a true offsite DVR (i can only get 5Mbit/s upstream speed where i am). The system can have 8 to 16 channels and doesn't necessarely need to have crazy top of the line cameras, they could be just half decent tvl dome cameras (all the cameras will be outdoor). I'd really like to see if some of you could help me find the right machine for it, I checked QSee QC series so far (which is probably not a hi-end brand) but they seem to claim to have a FTP record feature...
