Each new camera I get, I have to use an old router and set the IP Address range on it to the same range as the new camera so I can access it direct via the browser. The SADP app I think it is doesn't find it unless the computer you are running the program on is the same IP range as the camera. One I change the camera to the same ip config as my network, i.e. 192.168.1.x then the SADP app locates it. Is there another way of doing it?

The poe switch can only deliver 50w for example to the poe ports so if your combined cameras use more than that then you are in trouble. In your case, you should be fine since the Hikvision cameras are low powered. I have a new Hikvision DS-2CD2732-IS in front of me and it states 5.5w Max. A D-Link DGS-1008P, Netgear GS108P, TP-LINK TL-SG1008P and the ZyXEL GS1100-8HP would do if you want a gigabit switch.

8-port/4-port poe switch would be fine unless you plan to use more cameras. Also you need to know the power requirements for the cameras before making your choice. Not sure about your NVR but you need to check that it can identify the 4 cameras coming through the one port on the NVR.

The only problem I have whether its to do with the card or not is when I am watching playback via the browser, the button to fastforward doesn't seem to work and I have to drag and scroll the time frame at the button to get around it. Not ideal if you want to watch a few hours of footage for a particular incident. Does anyone else have this problem?

Mine formats ok. Sandisk have so many fakes on the market so maybe that is an issue. I made sure mine was 100% original. I know well known shops are selling Sandisk cards and they are fakes.

I have the DS-2CD2632F and a Sandisk Ultra 64 GB Class 10 micro SDXC and it seems to be working fine. What problems are people having?
