Hello there, i have exactly the same problem with resolutions and frozing image! Its great value for money device but its very annoying to have image issues. Does anyone solved these problem or found a firmware upgrade? My camera having issues right now is wired.

Can you please tell me if you have black random image in some of the streams? I have 3 cameras loosing image for a while. I'm asking because I couldn't understand the stream type choice! Thanks Try to format the disk and to attach it when nvr is closed. I suggest formatting at ntfs and then plug it in when nvr is off power

Hello forum, I need your advice about my little nvr! I have 6 foscam HD cameras and the super mini nvr (Google it) I have a monitor at 1280x1024 and on nvr settings I have 8x 720p streams. The manual says to select stream type equal or less than thes cameras main stream. All my cameras are at 720p 25fps and 45 key frame interval. My problem is that suddenly the nvr looses the image in random cameras for about 5-6 seconds and then it comes back. The cameras are alive all the time (I can ping them all the time). It happens both in wired and wireless camera's too. Nvr and camera's use the onvif protocol. Does anyone have experience with this nvr? I have foscam 9818W. Thanks

Trust me, you want to turn off If you don't need to remote access, block all non-local network traffic... yes i know what is it and its good to close it for security reasons , but my main concern is , will "fix" the randomly black image in the monitoring windows. thanks

I think that the reason is because there is service that upload the video to the http://www.goolink.org/ server try to disable the in this screen, by default it ENABLE The management host 1 and 2 ? Can someone confirm this ? By the way i was curious what is this

Hello forum , im very glad about buying this product it works very well with my HD foscams. I observed the same issues as brazsik said. I have 6 HD cameras at 720p 30fps and 2MB bitrate. Occasionally i get black screen in some streams and then the streams are back , it happens random and not at all cameras together. All cameras are wired and their substreams are 640x380. Can it be a network problem or it is natural ?? All cameras and nvr are connected at 100 Mbps switch. Also playing with the NVR stream type -> tried all that are equal or bigger than the cameras resolution and at some of them when i full screen a channel some other gives me a yellow warning triangle and freezes, when i exit fullscreen these channels start working again. Is there any need to update to latest firmware ? Are there any critical updates ?? Thanks !
