Where can I get a user manual for an electriQ AH4DVR720P?
warmbells posted a topic in General Analog CCTV Discussion
Hi, Does anyone know where I can get hold of a user manual for the electriQ AH4DVR720P. I have been in hospital and I think my wife has had a clear up of my paperwork as I can no longer find it or does anyone have a copy they could scam and email to me? Thanks, Gerald -
Inexpensive 4 channel dvr with export to flash drive?
warmbells posted a topic in General Digital Discussion
Hi, I'm looking for recommendations for a DVR to replace my failing Swann unit. I am only using two cameras at the moment and they both are BNC connections. I need to be able to export some of the videos to a flash drive. Thanks, Gerald -
The United Kingdom. The bit I want to save is in the last 15 minutes.

Thanks for all your help but I could still not get it to work. I found on the Swann site a program SwannView Link which does show the DVR on my PC, but when I try to download a one-hour recording it only saves the first thirty minutes of it. I'll try the Swann forum to see if anyone has had this problem or if I am doing something wrong.

Thanks for the download link. I have found the IP address from the DVR but it will not connect. I checked in my router and the IP address shows in the My Home Network section so it is connected. Any ideas as to why I cannot connect?

Thanks, I'll give it a try tomorrow.

I have a Swann DVR4-720P which does not let me save the video to another device, and have ordered an electriQ 4 Channel POE which will let me save the video to another device. Is it possible to put the drive from the Swann into the electriQ so that I can save the already recorded video? We have been having trouble with a neighbour in which the police have been involved. The housing officer has seen the video but has asked if it is possible to get a copy of the video to use in any action that has to be taken. Thanks

Hi, I have had this unit for some time, I noticed this morning that the Green power LED was flashing and nothing seems to want to work. Does this indicate a fault with the power supply? Does anyone know where I can get hold of a copy of a service manual for this product? Thanks, Gerald

Hi, I have had this 4 channel unit for some time with no problems. The other morning I found that it had not recorded any of the scheduled recordings, also when I tried to do a manual record I got the error message 'manual record failed'. When I tried to do a drive format, after the format it told me that the drive had 0Gb. Any ideas? Gerald

Technicolor TG582n and Swann H.264 DVR Help please
warmbells replied to warmbells's topic in Computers/Networking
Hi, Sorry to be a pain, I don't seem to be able to get anything to work. I have done the settings for IE and have a SwannDNS and a No-IP account neither of which seems toget me anywhere. When I enter the IP address given by No-IP I end up in the router page. if I add the port 9000 I get nothing at all. Would it be possible for me to PM you and give you some more specific details of what I have got in all the settings (don't want to give through the forum)/ Gerald -
Technicolor TG582n and Swann H.264 DVR Help please
warmbells replied to warmbells's topic in Computers/Networking
Hi dakrowe, Thanks for your reply. I just can't get it to show anything in the network, I have the DVR pluged into the router and a MAC address shows up but nothing shows in the home network. I want to be able to transfer any videos stored on the drive to one of my PCs and to be able to monitor via my iPhone when not at home. I've ffollowed your instructions but still nothing showing in the network. Gerald -
Hi, Has anybody had any experience of setting up these two items? I am running Windows 7 and the MAC address of the DVR shows in the router network but nothing seems to be happening and it does not show up in the PC network. The DVR network info is Technicolor TG582n IP Address 192.168.x.x Subnet Mask 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway 192.168.1.x Auto DNS Prefered DNS Server 192.168.1.x Alt DNS Server MAC Address 00:0A:xx:63:xx:B0 Am on Plusnet Fibre Just a bit puzzled. Thanks, Gerald
