I've been doing quite a bit of reading on various systems; and I'm about as confused as I could possibly be. I'm looking for a 6-8 channel outdoor system with no frills in terms of "cloud" options or PTZ cameras. I do like the idea of 1080P dome cameras and a NVR system. We have rural satellite internet and viewing over my phone is likely not an option given our limited bandwidth.
I'm not a professional and nor will I pretend to be; I am intrigued by "All in one" box systems as it provides me with everything I need at a reasonable price. With that being said, I have about a $1500-2000 budget and it will be a DIY installation.
What are some options following what I've described? I understand everyone has an opinion and I welcome any input offered. Thank you in advance.
