todoenred replied to executivecctv's topic in DVR Cards and Software - PC Based Systems
I agree, but if dont have single output for each channel you can use a T only if you have short distance between camera and dvr. is not the best option, but if you dont have more. regards -

Yes, it can work. but you need to considerate distance from cameras to dvr, remember if you put a splitter you will send a poor signal to dvr if distance is long. PD. sorry about my english, I hope you understand. -

yes, you can. If I get you, you need to have detection in one camera. So you need to go to detection section in config and select camera that you want and put detection on. Regards

I have avtech without problem with ddns. like kuocyj says you have that error if address dont change for your public IP. I use a custom dns with dyndns and when I configurate ddns data in dvr in DNS field I use same gateway address, that is modem address in local network. I made test changing manually ip in dyndns and reset dvr and ddns change is done. I hope my english is clear. regards

todoenred posted a topic in Installation Help and Accessories
Hi. we are a cctv dealer in Mexico, and we are in border with California, so, some times we have clients that has offices in Mexico and USA. We can not to install in California for licenses issues, so we need a partner for those instalations. And we can do instalations that your clients needs in Baja California. Best Regards -
I think is better get a dvr system in each location for local recording and NVR for remote viewing, so, like you say, when you have internet issues dont lose info. Regards Sorry about my english.
