Yes, it can work. but you need to considerate distance from cameras to dvr, remember if you put a splitter you will send a poor signal to dvr if distance is long. PD. sorry about my english, I hope you understand.

yes, you can. If I get you, you need to have detection in one camera. So you need to go to detection section in config and select camera that you want and put detection on. Regards

If you have a router, make conection from router, not from PC. in router, you need to setup DMZ feature for IP taked by DVR. regards

I have avtech without problem with ddns. like kuocyj says you have that error if address dont change for your public IP. I use a custom dns with dyndns and when I configurate ddns data in dvr in DNS field I use same gateway address, that is modem address in local network. I made test changing manually ip in dyndns and reset dvr and ddns change is done. I hope my english is clear. regards

I have same dvr without problems but I only have dvr to get access from internet in port 80. In router I have DMZ to local IP address of DVR and DVR with DHCP. Regards
