Seems I need to explain the Motion Detection Function again as many new guys are asking about it. 1. Our NVR support Standard Onvif Protocol. If your IP camera is using standard Onvif Protocol, then motion detection function can work. 2. Most of the IP Camera manufacturer decide to modify the standard Onvif Protocol to their own versions, they only want motion detection function work on their own NVR. 3. We have developed over 20 private protocols to enable the motion detection function when you use IP Cameras from different manufacturers. If you use XMEYE camera, you need to update i12 private protocol to our NVR, if you use Dahua IP camera, you need to upload i33 private protocols to NVR, if you use D-Link Onvif IP camera, you will need i28 private protocols. Sorry for the inconvenience but this is the only way to make their motion detection function work on our NVR. Please be noted that "IP Camera of NVSIP, Hikvision, do not agree to develop private protocol with us yet so motion detection function will not work if you use their IP cameras". NVSIP camera's motion detection function only works on NVSIP NVR, Hikvision IP Camera's motion detection only work on Hikvision NVR. 4. Because of the limited flash in NVR we are unable to upload all private protocol onto NVR. If we know what IP camera you have we can then upload it to NVR before dispatching. 5. Mini NVR II as well as all of our other NVRs have the same firmware and software, so the motion detection thing is no different between Mini NVR 1, and Mini NVR 2, and POE NVR etc. Hope it will help.

It is strange I haven't been able to receive any email notification from the forum in the past 2-3 weeks. I used to receive emails if there is something new here. I thought nothing happened here. But apparently I was wrong, soooo many new questions.

Did you copy the downloaded file to flash drive and plug into NVR USB to make the update? It can only be done on VGA/HDMI monitor. IE update is not OK yet. I like to try the Danale software I upgrade successfully to 2014122910 But the Danale app is not recognizing the qr code The danale pc software is only in chinese You will need to enable the Danale QR Code first. After that you will get two QR Code on the page. The ICloud QR Code is only for Goolink App. How to enable Setting-Network-Mangement Platform-Click on Modify-Platform 3, Select Protocol "Dana", "Tick it" Leave other info empty. Restart NVR, (nvr needs to be connected to internet so that it can generate the QR code of Dana app)

The smtp server is smtp-mail.outlook.com, all I could figure out is it didn't like the "-" in the server address, so I switched to gmail and all was good. isn't it pop3.live.com and smtp.live.com for outlook? Support two P2P app now, Goolink and Dana (http://www.danale.com) 3. and for P2P ID we made QR Code pictures shown in the system. I don't think we will need to print all those QR code and stick it on NVR box again in the future, when the final version is officially released. I believe someone maybe wanna have a try? Hi Szymon_Zy! I have set all the 4 IPCam to record whole day for every day of the week, BUT when I search, I only find for the current day the records until the current time (correct) and for the day before the records from the current time to midnight. For all the other previous days no record at all, as I wrote, I have only the last 24 hours despite an HD of 2Tb that always maintains 1,8 Tb free !! It should be a parameter set somewhere because the behaviour is "scientifically correct" for a system that saves only the last 24 hours... Welcome to anybody who can help me. Multiple Language available when output via VGA/HDMI monitor. (20 language available in 20141030, and German Language is included in all firmware versions) IE, PC CMS, only English Available.

1. All Onvif Camera can work with NVR, get video and record continuously, so first step is to make sure it is an Onvif IP Camera so that the video can be recorded by other Onvif NVR. 2. Motion Detection Need the camera to be with Standard Onvif Protocol. Many IPC manufacturers use their own Modified Onvif Protocol to make their IPC only fully compatible on their own NVR like the NVSIP, HIKVISION etc. But many other IPC manufacturer(More than 20) and us developed private protocols together to make their IPC's motion detection function work on NVR. So there are more than 20 private protocols available. If your IPC is originally from one of our partners, upload the correct protocol to NVR then the motion detection function can work. (NVSIP, HIKVISION camera still not work on Motion Detection)

NVR supports WEP encryption only, please try.

The latest firmware version 20141030's default setting for recording is to replace oldest recording files with newest recording files. We have hide the selection. There is a firmware to disclose the selection and enable you to select between 1, erase old files and keep recording 2. stop recording when HDD is full. But I don't think this firmware is necessary to be used...

Hi, Eric, Try adjust the HDMI Monitor's Display resolution. This happens only Monitor's resolution is lower than NVR's resolution. When you connect it to VGA monitor you can also try to lower the NVR's Stream Type and then connect to HDMI monitor. Cheer. Sorry, I mean the NVR display setting - Resolution, select a lower one.

1. HTTP 80 Port is always taken by some other devices. You can try to change to other port like 81,82? 2. Port forwarding, need 4 ports. (as attached picture). If you changed the remote port 6000, then you need to port forward 6001, 6002.

1. NVR time stamp can not be recorded on video footage. The recorded video can only show Time Stamp of Camera. 2. Is there a time Sync in your IP camera? or Camera firmware bug? Any possibility to turn it off and only use NVR to manage it? 3. No NVR Time Stamp in IE. 4. This is the latest firmware version, devices is connected to a VGA monitor. I took pictures with my phone. lol.

If I understand your question correct: 1. Make sure the time setting of NVR is correct. 2. No matter what your time setting in camera, you can use NVR to synchronize the IP camera time to the NVR time. 3. Only Standard Onvif Camera (Not Modified Onvif) or cameras with private protocol with our NVR can operate this way. 4. In the recorded video it only shows the camera time. You can hide the NVR time.
