Hmmmm it is a misunderstanding.. The Network Recording function in our company defines: NVR supports IP SAN (Storage Area Network) IP SAN likes a giant computer with Windows OS, this device can run our 200CH or 500CH software to manage 200pcs or 500pcs max IP cameras.

?? Oops? Sorry we never thought that will be a trouble to view. Should state more clear in user manual. Here is now it goes, System default is in the first frame while select a single channel. Click the first black frame, then select any channel you want to view, you will find that channel shown in the first frame. Then single click the second frame, and select another channel you want to view, then the other image will be shown in the second frame. Problem solved? Regards, Mike

1. I think the HDD is already in sleep mode while not being used? 2. The pre record function, say you set 30 seconds, the image will always have 30 seconds buffer in NVR(NVR RAM) and when the motion is triggered the NVR just save that 30 seconds data on hard drive. 3. Hmmmm. Asian prefer smaller things lol. And yes about the running man I just noticed that and forward the message to our R&D now, think it is a small bug on IE. (No problem on Monitor output)

Hi, Updating Via IE, Please try this. 1. Only Use IE to update, no firefox, no chrome 2. try Connecting a HDD to the NVR. 3. Copy the latest firmware to drive D: , not put on your desktop or C: drive. 4. Start to update. Good luck

That's true, you don't need to update if you are afraid of brick it. The biggest bug of 20140417 is that you can not change IP address through IE or PC Software. You can change it through NVR directly anyway. Hi Szymon, what about your side? did you make it work?

Hi sorry we don't have a change log available (only one in last year and it is in Chinese .lol). Problem is that Chinese R&D guys are not good at English and it takes time for the marketing department to have them translated but we really don't have enough time to do that and our R&D just talked to us which part is slightly changed. Maybe there will be one in PDF format in the near future.

Let me explain the Motion Detection Thing, This NVR support Standard Onvif Protocol, if your IP camera is using standard Onvif Protocol (Not Modified Onvif), then the motion detection can work properly. Many IP camera manufacturer modified their Onvif Protocol to limit the buyers to buy the recording devices from them. If not the Motion Detection recording and alarm might not work. You may ask your camera sellers if their cameras are standard Onvif (Anyway I believe most of them don't really know about the standard Onvif things, they only know their IP camera is an Onvif one). Then we created private protocols with many IP camera manufacturers. After you update the devices with the correct private protocols then the motion detection can work. While there are still many IP camera manufacturer don't agree to have private protocols with our NVR, so Motion detection won't work with their Cameras, like the NVSIP, Hikvision etc. (Dahua, D-Link and some others have no problem on Motion detection after protocol update) So you need to always ask your Camera Seller and NVR Seller about this issue before making that order.

4CH and 8CH is different update

Wifi function has not been completed. The Wifi Router must be set without password. No timetable to solve it currently, so many other things to do. And what wifi dongle you are using? can not support all, only works with wifi dongle with RT5370 chip inside. (Your NVR seller should let you know )

All you old IP cameras with Onvif protocol? any PTZ camera with Onvif protocol can be accessed with this NVR.

If it is a customized NVR (Customized Software, not just a logo printed), you need to contact seller for the latest update. If it is a neutral NVR, all firmware is same. 20140417 etc.
