The new nvr2 16 channels is fine product. Is working with faster cpu i think, recordings are smoother. I had 8 cams on my mini-nvr,but is now replaced. Happy because webif or gui is same, also standard with latest firm. Thank you Mike.

Constant recording and motion detection the same time would be Nice. Means a blue bar for constantrecording and yellow stripes for detection event.

19" samsung 931BW has no hdmi so you used converter? I used a 1650X1080 Monitor with hdmi. After a while i began to use the cheapest 32" (160€),wow what an upgrade,it's like the mini-nvr became alive,

Lower that 2MpCAM to 1,3 or 1MP when you don't loose to much def. I did that to become better overall recordings.

Seems to run cooler with 2 latest firmwares, with 8channels at work. I putted big heatsink on cpu (secondglue) Maybe to big, case top doesn't close anymore . With new version Mini II NVR will theire be place for extra alluminium? We have to ask Mike when the new one will arrive,,,,,,and seperate forum?

hi boys and girls, I have here for my mini-nvr8ch. Its works for the one i bought at dongjia and the one i bought at ur cctv store and one at other place. Your ploblems i once also had. I bought a thing, the cheapest, but with theuy a lit allmost none support. Now i buy a little more expensive, with the difference that i get great support. I don't know if my soft is compatible with yours, but when you send a message i will give it to you. alarm1963@gmail.com Its worked allready on the 2 i told about and also on the boavision type. Most difficult is to get the nvr's to the firmware release one above before updating. Don't jump for one that is to old to the latest.(my experience). And that means i broke them all before i got it right. (means making usb boot disk with update files etc). So that means i jumped now from 20140718 to 20140804....you see the problem? Much luck.

hi, i found a beautifull cam with great support and fine picture for not to much money. 1SB04 is the model brand is urcctv, most important great support is better than my imx222 chip what has problems with black (becomes blue shine ) have the same chip also with varifocal 2.8-12. i have 14 cams installed here, strange but the cheapest are the best.

Google Maps car trespass on private property!
scoobycamdoo replied to AlienDroid's topic in General Digital Discussion
Now i remember something. I was following a streetvieuw car in full action (rotathing cam on the roof). What techfreak on this forum would not proffit from this occasion to take a selphi. After a while they got aware off their stalker. So they entered a private driveway and stopped before the garage. My excuses to the googleteam . Who knows how many times a day this happens. So what have we learned, we(all the curious techfreaks)are self guilty for this topic -
Google Maps car trespass on private property!

Hi scoobycamdoo Made me laugh LOL It reminds of a police documentary I watched a long while ago. The CCTV guy was giving directions to the police officer on the ground. He spotted someone and the officer was following the guy acting suspiciously! It then turns out the police officer was following himself! Doh..... -
For analog i find Sony Image sensor very good when they are with a good osd to adjust backlight and highlight compensation. For digital i was in first very curious for the result of the imx 122.138.222. They all had not the good features to compensate backlight and highlight. At morning they had all problems with ir cutting (pink issue) The sensor does its work at night veryvery good, but during the day black gets very quick a bleu shine. Direct sun is a killer, oversensitive i think. So i sold al my sony ip's . The best result i have with the 3518 vers but ion with 030. There will be better sony i haven't met them for now, for a few dollars.

Hi, This is the latest firmware version we have. I am sorry I don't understand which part you meant this firmware is bad? What problem you met with this NVR?

Hi, i'm new here. I have a dongjia DA2008GM, a mini-dvr 8 channel. I wanted to update it with the newest on theire site dongjiadigital. They don't give any explaining and i asked for it, but after 3 mail i tried by putting the file on a usbstick and directly in the nvr. But after rebooting i get a short startup screen and nothing afterwards. I have put some files from this forum on a stick and now it boots until the update screen, but i don't find a compatible update file, with the usbstick booted i can do a telnet command on 192.168.1.188 but then i am stuck. So, somebody with the same brand who got the good bootfiles etc to put on a stick. For the moment my 4 dongjia 1mp 3518chipset camera,s and 1 anran and 1 cotier are running on a vanxse hybrid in constant recording mode in 720*360 extra stream....but no motion det from the dongjia's.(i know, not compatible) Waiting for a clever mind and his post. thanks
