Hi All, I have been playing with Line crossing detection, it works fine on full screen monitoring trigger as well as audible warning but I couldn't get popup image triggered on remote IVMS 4200 nor IVMS 4500 app. The only message received was VCA detection start/end whereas on the phone app no alarm was being pushed. The setup is as follows: on cameras: motion detection enabled with no area drawn and sens to highest. line crossing detection enabled with line drawn and sens to highest. enable notification to surveillance center, trigger channel, full screen monitoring, audible warning on NVR: VCA enabled with enable notification to surveillance center, trigger channel, full screen monitoring, audible warning Have anyone tested this before or have any input on this? Hi all, We are looking to build a system with 86TB storage. Hikvision spec states it supports up to 8 NAS disks. So does this mean it only supports to 8 HDDs which if I use 6TB WD red would only go up to 48TB of NAS storage? In this case paired with the 8 SATA 2U 32ch Unit, we can only have 80TB of storage max? Hi All, I recently bricked a camera after downgrading it from 5.2.8 to 5.2.0. I have tried tftping all firmwares (5.1.6, 5.2.0, 5.2.3) that i can find with no luck of bring it alive. Right now the camera just keep rebooting and I could neither ping it nor find it on SADP. So I hope tftping 5.2.5 or 5.2.8 will make it working again. I have a similar question, my NVR is DS-7804N-E1/4P and it's in chinese. Would it be possible to flash it with a DS-7604 or other multi-language fw using tftp to bring it up in english? Thanks! LL

First, thanks a lot for the write up, it is really informative. I tried to follow it but was stuck on the ftp part. It seems that ftpput is not available in /bin, neither is ftpget. Is there any other way to ftp the davinci file off the ipc? The IPC I currently have is on Fw 5.2.1 and it is in Chinese only. It would really help if I can bring up the English interface on it. Also I have an NVR on 3.0.8 that only has chinese as well, is there a similar way to add english to it? Currently no matter what fw I try on the NVR, it always gives the prompt "can't upgrade, firmware mismatch". Thanks!! -LL
