I am trying to put together a surveillance system for my home, which is on the corner of the street. I am looking for a panoramic or fisheye camera that can record 360 degrees at once, so they can cover the sides of my house and cars on the street simultaneously. I was looking at a Geovision camera, but it's Windows-based, and I want to avoid Microsoft technologies at all costs. (I'm a software developer and hate the company on principle.) Can anyone recommend a Linux or (ideally) mac-based camera-software combination?

There's a street light on the corner, and a motion light on the opposite side of the house. I'll check out those cameras, thank you.
