Hi folks,
Been an appreciative lurker for some time. Now a first-time poster.
Was about to pull the trigger on an [11] camera AliExpress order through CCTV Camera China (Julia), with an eventual CBX region code fix... until I realized the default Chinese bracket appears to be a 3-hole swivel-mount that originates at the bottom of the housing, thus leaving the cabling exposed. I'm not sure, but the piece that fastens to the wall may even be plastic.
Some of the sellers, including Julia, offer a complimentary "arm-style" bracket, but that too leaves the cabling exposed.
The US version I'm used to has the 4-hole flange, and the cabling is protected inside. Everything is metal. It just looks clean and solid.
What style did you end up with, and how did it work out?
Is that 4-hole metal bracket only available on US cams?
Thanks!
Note: The DS-2CD2212 uses the same shell, so if you happened to go the AliExpress route with that cam instead of the 2232, same questions apply.
