Hello, I am new to this forum so please excuse me if this has been asked before.
I setup a 4 camera system for a friend and it worked OK after replacing one of the defective cameras. As it turned out, the defective camera was returned to me by China post office as "unclaimed". So just for K&G I wanted to see if I could get it to work. Well it configures and works OK using the CAT5 connection. The NV Client software shows two IP addresses with two MAC addresses. Trying to connect with only the wireless IP address fails. Opening the Verizon router software the two IP addresses have the same MAC address.
Now to the question, does anyone know where I might be able to install new firmware in the camera to "fix" the duplicate MAC address problem or do you think this is a hardware problem.
The camera works fine using the CAT5 cable but the intended use is for door entry monitoring and the cable would be very long and difficult to install.
